We Remember & Honor Those Who Gave All

We Remember & Honor Those Who Gave All | Simplifying The Market

We remember, today and always.

To every parent who weeps for a child, to every child who mourns for a parent, and to every husband or wife whose heart has been torn in two: Today we ask God to comfort your pain, to ease your sorrow, and to wipe away your tears.  This is a very special day.  And today, our whole country thanks you, embraces you, and pledges to you: We will never forget our heroes.

~Donald Trump, Memorial Day Ceremony 2018

Today we honor those brave men and women that gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms that we enjoy. It is a day spent with family. Many mark the day with a cold drink and a barbeque.  Some exchange a “Happy Memorial Day” greeting and that is okay too. The servicemembers that we honor today would want us to be happy, to drink, to BBQ, and to be with loved ones. Those are some of the values that they died to protect. So let’s all raise our glass today in honor of those heroes, and hold them in our hearts always.

Happy Memorial Day

~Richard
